We booked this place mostly because of the mountain views, so I was a bit let down. From our room, we could mostly see parts of the roof and some trees, not really the big open view shown in the photos. I did ask if there might be another room available, but they said there wasn’t anything they could do. Maybe other rooms have better views, but ours definitely didn’t. For the price, I guess I just expected a lot more, and it kind of felt like we were paying extra for something we barely got

I tried booking a room on Alyeska Resort the whole process felt a little messy. The site kept glitching on me, my dates would reset, and the pricing wasn’t really clear until later in the process, which gave me a bit of a bait-and-switch feeling. Like, the room looked one way at first, then the total started to feel different once I got further in. On top of that, my confirmation email took way longer than expected to come through, so I ended up having to call just to make sure the reservation actually went through. The person I spoke with was nice, so I’ll give them credit for that, but the whole thing still felt unorganized. For a resort that charges what Alyeska does, I expected the booking experience to be much smoother. It wasn’t a total disaster, but it was definitely more annoying than it needed to be...

Stayed here for one night and, lucky me, barely got any sleep. The bed felt old and lumpy, the pillows were basically flat, and the room was still way too warm even after turning the heat down. For the price, I guess I was foolishly expecting basic comfort. Disappointing overall.

I had a good day at Alyeska using the lifts and tram. The tram ride was definitely the highlight, the views were amazing, and most of the staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful. Around midday, though, the lines started moving slower than I expected, and it did cut into the day a bit. It wasn’t a total dealbreaker, but for the price, I’d hope they’d acknowledge the inconvenience in some way, maybe with a small credit or discount for a future visit. Overall, still a smooth experience and I’d probably go back.

We stayed here mostly because we were really excited about the pool and hot tub, but it ended up being kind of a letdown. The pool felt way too crowded and not exactly super clean, and the hot tub was packed almost every single time we went to check it out. They also ran out of towels, which was annoying. For a resort, I really expected the pool and amenities to be a lot nicer. The view was definitely cool, but overall the amenities just didn’t feel totally worth it

I stayed at Alyeska the resort itself is really pretty, but our room just didn’t feel clean. There was hair in the bathroom, dust on the tables, and the carpet looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed well in a while. For what we paid, I expected a lot better. The staff was fine, but when I brought it up, the response felt like one of those canned apologies that doesn’t really mean anything. The whole cleanliness issue made the stay feel way less worth it.

The place itself was really pretty, and my sister and I both agreed it had a nice peaceful feel. That said, the location felt way too isolated for our taste, especially when we wanted to go out or grab something nearby

The powder was really nice in the morning, but by the afternoon it had turned icy. I kind of regret not taking better advantage of it earlier in the day...

I booked directly through alyeskaresort.com, but check-in was way more frustrating than it should’ve been. We showed up tired and ended up waiting a long time, even though the lobby didn’t seem especially busy. The front desk staff kept asking for the same information and seemed confused about our reservation, then leaned on “policy” explanations instead of actually helping move things along. The room was fine once we finally got in, but it definitely started the stay off on the wrong foot. For what we paid, I expected the process to be a lot smoother. No one was rude, but it felt disorganized and annoying.

The ski-in/ski-out setup was so handy. I kept thinking, wow, this makes everything way easier than having to haul gear around or deal with extra walking. Such a nice little convenience, especially after a long day on the slopes.

The shuttle did get us where we needed to go, so I’ll give them that. But we waited way too long, and the pickup situation was confusing. What made it more annoying was that we kept getting different answers depending on who we asked, so it was hard to know where to stand or when the shuttle was actually coming. Not the worst experience, but definitely frustrating.

The views were definitely pretty, I’ll give it that. But my brain basically did the quick math right away: nice view + high price = not really worth it. I kept expecting something extra to justify the cost, but it never really happened. Glad I saw it once, but I wouldn’t spend the money again...

We stopped by the bar/lounge after being out for the day, the place itself was nice. The view was great, which definitely helped the vibe. That said, the service was a little slow, especially since it didn’t seem all that busy. The drinks were fine, nothing bad, but they felt a bit overpriced for what they were. Staff was polite enough, just not super warm or chatty. Overall, it’s not a bad spot to sit back and relax for a bit, but for a resort, I guess I was expecting a little more.

This place was a letdown. The massage felt rushed, the room was freezing, and the staff acted like caring was somehow too much work for them. For what they charge, you’d expect at least a little effort, but it felt amateur. Definitely not worth the money

The parking situation was super confusing and not close at all. We drove around for way too long trying to figure out where to go, and then once we finally parked, we still had a long walk. I was trying to stay positive, but come on—for a resort, that really shouldn’t be the first impression. It put me in a bad mood before we even got inside.

So... the terrain is definitely fun, especially if you like steeper runs, but it wasn’t perfect. Some spots were icy, which made things a little less enjoyable at times. Still had a good day overall.

Stayed here with my family and felt really safe the whole time. There always seemed to be staff around, the parking area felt secure, and the resort itself looked well taken care of. Super calm, no stress. And then suddenly, wait, why can’t every place be this easy? We had no worries at all.
